The Arc of Cape May County hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 26, celebrating the opening of their new Day and Vocational Services building.

Various dignitaries attended, including Sen. Bob Andrejczak (D-1st), John Amenhauser, chief counsel to U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-2nd), Cape May County Freeholder E. Marie Hayes and The Arc of New Jersey Executive Director Tom Baffuto.

“The Arc of Cape May County does amazing work in our community to provide individuals with disabilities an opportunity to thrive,” Andrejczak stated. “With this new facility, they will continue to do the amazing work that they have always done, and I’m happy to support them in all of their future endeavors.”

A Note from Leslie Long, Executive Director

This has been a very exciting fall season at The Arc of Cape May County! In September, we welcomed family members, our staff, and Dignitaries to the opening of our new Day and Vocational Services building. This brand new facility allows our organization to enhance a continuum of employment/day services throughout the stages of adulthood and be better able to meet changes in skills and abilities. If you want to come visit our facility to learn more about our Day/Vocational Services, please reach out to Robin Watson at robin@arcofcapemaycounty.org.

We are looking forward to the great opportunities starting in the new year. As we approach the holiday season, we want to extend our gratitude to our partners at Cape May County, our local businesses, our devoted staff, and our families for helping us achieve the highest quality of care for the individuals that we serve.

Gratefully Yours, Leslie Long
