We recently celebrated employee milestones of 5 year increments with one employee marking 35 years!! In addition, we were excited to honor the D’Aleo family for their extended commitment and contributions toward our mission over countless years. All of these people are shining examples of generosity of heart and spirit and we are beyond grateful for their many accomplishments within and for The Arc of Cape May. THANK YOU!

The Arc of Cape May County, Inc. promotes and protects the human rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. The organization was formed in 1951 by parents determined to ensure the most full & independent lives possible for their children with intellectual & developmental disabilities (I/DD). The start of our services began with an early intervention program. At the outset, the organization was committed to altering perceptions of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and to educate parents and others regarding the potential of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Over many years The Arc has become a strong advocate for community inclusion and acceptance. The personal autonomy, liberty, freedom, and dignity of each individual with I/DD must be respected and supported and we have ensured these rights by offering services in residential , day programs and vocational training. Providing individuals with the assistance they desire to reach their personal goals and establish a sense of satisfaction with their lives is our driving force.

We are an approved qualified provider for many programs in the new Fee for Service system. We are looking forward to working with our community to tailor services and supports to meet the need of individuals in this new system. PLEASE CALL US DIRECTLY AT 861-7100 to discuss options and opportunities as we transition into this new way of doing business for people with I/DD.
